
A timepiece featuring a double flying tourbillon with two different rotation speeds named in tribute to a legendary character imagined by Voltaire. "Micromegas" (small/large) is the story of the giant Micromégas and a dwarf from the planet Saturn who travel the universe seeking knowledge.

Inspired by this character, the 1770 Micromegas Revolution is a groundbreaking timepiece featuring a dial display that is at once revolutionary and captivating, both technically and visually. Two flying tourbillons spin at two different rotation speeds, one at 6 seconds and the other at 60 seconds. An hour hand tracks a subdial while a skeletonized turning disc indicates minutes.
Technical Specifications:
The case, in titanium or in 18kt rose gold, measures 45mm x 11.8mm. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back and it is water resistant to 30 meters.

Movement is the Swiss automatic Manufacture Royale in-house double flying tourbillon caliber MR08 The movement reveals a medium-sized rotor on its dial. The automatic winding system is mounted on ceramic ball bearings and features a power reserve of 40 hours. The Micro beats at 28,800 vph and the Megas at 21,600 vph.
The plate and bridges are entirely hand-decorated with ruthenium treatment. Mainplate with Côtes de Genève decoration. Left tourbillon: one rotation/6 seconds, titanium cage, brass flying balance wheel.

It comes on a hand-stitched, black alligator leather strap with a titanium or 18kt rose gold folding clasp.
