Omega Launches Two New Trésor Timepieces in Support of Orbis

Since 2011, OMEGA has been a proud and avid supporter of Orbis: an international non-profit NGO, committed to preventing avoidable blindness in the world's poorest regions.

The case, in stainless steel, measures 40mm. It has a domed AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 30 meters. The bezel can be had polished or diamond-set.

Movement is the Swiss manual-wind Omega in-house caliber 8511 with 30 jewels, 25,200 vph and a power reserve of 60 hours. 18kt red gold balance bridge. Co-Axial escapement for greater precision, stability and durability. Resistant to magnetic fields greater than 15,000 Gauss. Free sprung-balance with silicon balance spring, two barrels mounted in series. Luxury finish with exclusive Geneva waves in Arabesque.

Domed gradient blue dial with polished hands and applied domed indeces in 18kt white gold. As a playful reference to the cuddly toys given to children undergoing eye surgery, an Orbis Teddy Bear replaces the number 8 on the date indicator. The mascot is shaded in the same light blue as the varnished seconds hand.
It comes on a blue leather strap with polished steel buckle.

It is offered with a 5 year warranty. The special presentation box and Teddy Bear key holder will charm even the most serious collector.
Purchasing one of these watches helps give wings to a Flying Eye Hospital, as it raises funds for Orbis' dedicated team of medical professionals.
Thanks.
