The SeaQ 1969 is a faithful recreation of the original Spezimatic Type RP TS 200 produced in 1969, with the fit and finish of a modern timepiece. Strictly limited to 69 editions, the SeaQ 1969 features a 39.5 mm stainless steel case with polished and satin-brushed finish, a rotating bezel and an engraved solid case back. It has a galvanic black dial with sunray finish. The original dial of the vintage Spezimatic was painted with radium, and the SeaQ 1969 recreates the aged look with numerals and markers painted with a pale brown SuperLuminova, and hands treated with green SuperLuminova.
Although the SeaQ 1969 sold out quickly, the SeaQ in stainless steel is a standard, unlimited production model that is identical to the limited edition in most respects except for less wording on the dial and faux-aged SuperLuminova on the dial and hands. Powered by the caliber 39 automatic movement. Price starts at $8,700.
