Introducing a new U.S. limited edition timepiece honoring Seiko's first sports watch, the 1959 "Alpinist." This contemporary interpretation of the original rugged sports watch comes in a limited edition of 1,959 pieces, in recognition of the year of its original debut.
The case, in stainless steel, measures 39.5mm. It has an inner rotating compass ring, a sapphire crystal, an engraved caseback, and it is water resistant to 200 meters.
Movement is the Japanese automatic Seiko in-house caliber 6R15 with 23 jwels, 21,600 vph and a power reserve of 50 hours.
It has a blue-patterned dial with Lumibrite hands and markers.
It comes on a black vintage leather band with white contrast stitching, and a steel buckle.
