Limited Edition of 50 Pieces Each
This special model is part of a trilogy paying tribute to the 50th Anniversary of Trinidad Cigars.
Zenith introduced this new Pilot Type 20 Chronograph Trinidad Edition trilogy at Cuba's 21st Habanos Festival. The latter is the most prestigious event dedicated to Premium Cigars and will be held from February 18th to 22nd 2019 in Havana City, which is also celebrating its 500th anniversary.
The Trinidad 50 anniversary cigar is made at Cohiba's exclusive El Laguito factory; this Habano is renowned for its rich, aromatic and medium flavor. Embodying all the richness of this iconic cigar, the Pilot Type 20 Chronograph Trinidad Edition appears in a trio of rose, yellow and white gold cases, each available in 50-piece limited editions and engraved on the back with the Trinidad 50th Anniversary logo.
An identical once-off Pilot Type 20 Chronograph Trinidad Edition in platinum will be auctioned during the Habanos Festival as a part of the exclusive Trinidad humidor developed in honor of the anniversary of the brand.
Technical Specifications:
The case, in 18kt yellow, white or rose gold, measures 45mm x 14.2mm. It has a domed AR-coated sapphire crystal and it is water resistant to 100 meters. Engraved caseback with Trinidad 50th Anniversary logo.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Zenith in-house caliber El Primero 4069 with 35 jewels, 36,000 vph and a power reserve of 50 hours. The rotor features Côtes de Genève decoration. Functions are: hours and minutes in the center, small seconds at 9 o'clock. Central chronograph hand and 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock.
Dials can be had in Havana brown with a tobacco leaf pattern. Arabic numerals in beige SuperLuminova. The hands are gold-plated or rhodium-plated, faceted and coated with beige SuperLuminova. Contrasting sub-dials.
It comes on a Havana brown calfskin leather strap with Trinidad logo pattern. Protective rubber lining with Trinidad logo on the inner side. Matching gold buckle.
