Moritz Grossmann presents a double lot, linking contemporary design with its heritage. An original Moritz Grossmann pocket watch from their private collection, nade around 1875, this piece showcases Glashütte's history. Secondly, they have crafted its twin, a wrist watch in 18kt rose gold with an enamel dial that matches the pocket watch.
The case is done in 18kt rose gold for the wrist watch (41mm x 11.3mm) and 18kt yellow gold for the pocket watch.
The dial of the wrist watch is a unique enamel Grand Feu, that matches the original dial on the pocket watch. Blued steel poire hands.
Movement is the German manual-wind Moritz Grossmann in-house caliber 100.1 with 20 jewels (3 screwed gold chatons), 18,000 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours. It is adjusted to five positions. It features a lever escapement, shock-resistant Grossmann balance with 4 inertia and 2 poising screws, a Nivarox 1 balance spring with No. 80 Breguet terminal curve, Gerstenberger geometry balance.
The wrist watch comes on a black alligator leather strap with an 18kt rose gold buckle.
In addition, the owner will be invited to visit the legendary town of Glashütte as their guest. Staying overnight and dining with them in Dresden, then spending the next day in Saxony.
