Ernst Benz Official Timepiece of the Movement Electronic Music Festival
A collaboration born out of a mutual passion for music, innovation and creativity, the friendship between Ernst Benz and Paxahau Events who is largely responsible for the culture of Techno music in Motor City, Detroit and is known for revolutionizing the Movement Electronic Music Festival into a globally recognized phenomenon.
The inspiration of instrumentation, music and sound are at the root of the company's essence who's founder was a radio engineer and audiophile. In the 1970's Ernst Benz produced Benz Micro Cartridges; vinyl cartridges that were considered to be the finest in the world of high-end stereo phonics that were coveted by audiophiles.
Technical Specifications:
The case, in titanium, measures 47mm. It has a convex sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 50 meters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic ETA caliber 7750 with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours.
Its instrument dial was designed after the company's original Aircraft Chrono Gauge instrument that has been reimagined with dark black luminous SuperLuminova numerals and hands.
Incorporated onto face is also the Movement symbol applied in matching black luminous so that like the numbers illuminates under black light.
