The new Oris Audi Sport GMT has been tailored to reflect Audi road-car dashboard instrument panels. It is the latest product of its partnership with Audi Sport.
Oris joined forces with Audi Sport at the end of 2013. Audi Sport has won the famous endurance event at Le Mans a record 13 times since 2000 most recently topping the podium in June 2014 with the Oris-sponsored Audi R18 E-tron Quattro.
Technical Specifications:
The case, in stainless steel, measures 44mm. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 100 meters. It has a Bi-rotating tungsten bezel with minute scale and rubber coated 'good grip'insert on the outside edge.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Oris caliber 747 (base Sellita SW220-1) with 26 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 38 hours. It features the Oris-developed retrograde small seconds counter at 9 o'clock, which fills with red over the course of 60 seconds, like the rev counter on a modern race car.
The two-piece matte silver dial with applied numerals has SuperLuminova coating, hour and minute hands are filled with SuperLuminova, and it has a silver dial ring with second timezone indication.
It comes on a black perforated leather racing strap with a stainless steel folding clasp. It is also available with stainless steel bracelet.
MSRP is 2,200 Swiss Francs.
