This contemporary recreation of the renowned 1961 model is the solution to the increasingly widespread presence of magnetisation sources. Eberhard & Co. was one of the first manufacturers to offer a product able to satisfy this new demand.

The main solution introduced by the Swiss watchmaking industry was the Faraday cage, a device named after the scientist who developed it during the first half of the 19th century, well before electrical appliances became a domestic feature throughout the western world.

The steel case presents a polished and satin finish and the screwed-in caseback is customised with a period logo and an inscription referencing the tests successfully passed at the specialist center in La Chaux-de-Fonds, certifying compliance with ISO 764 2020 standards.

Technical Specifications:
The case, in stainless steel, measures 41mm x 11.2mm. Inner Faraday soft iron cage for protection against magentic fields. It has a domed AR-coated sapphire crystal, a caseback customised with the 1961 design inspired by magnetic fields with the letter 'E' in the center, and it is water resistant to 100 meters.

Movement is the Swiss automatic Sellita caliber SW 300-1 with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours. Functions are: hours, minutes, and central seconds.
