For this new design, Speake-Marin proposes a complication for travellers, who want to know at first glance their "Home" time versus the "Local" time. This new model is therefore the Speake-Marin travel watch par excellence, which targets travellers and digital nomads who are looking for the perfect travel watch, which completes their travel attire. Orange has been chosen as a symbol of energy and power, referring to the Sun colour and its heating energy, which is in the centre of the solar system. Orange symbolizes as well life and hope to fight the DMD disease thanks to the very encouraging results of the research against the disease. Last but not least, the Sun is from ages the reference for the chronometry measure and the time split.
Speake-Marin took inspiration from the Black Architecture too (that you can find everywhere in megacities like London) playing with black and grey applications on the case and the bridges.
Technical Specifications:
The case, in black DLC titanium, measures 42mm. It has a domed AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 30 meters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Speake-Marin in-house caliber SMA02 with 36 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 52 hours. Micro-rotor. Functions are: hours and minutes. Small seconds and retrograde date at 1:30. Dual Time indication at 9 o'clock.
Black matte finish openworked dial. Dual time indication in black and dark orange. Heart-shaped yellow lacquered hands.
It comes on an orange rubber strap with a black DLC steel pin buckle.
