Limited Edition of 88 Pieces - Corum Celebrates 21 Years of the Bubble
It was during the famed Basel watch exhibition in the year 2000 that Corum first unveiled its now-legendary Bubble watch. With an oversized case and huge domed crystal, the Bubble was the brainchild of the equally-legendary Severin Wunderman, then owner of the brand.
That first Bubble wowed the world and the timepiece quickly developed a cult-like following. Now, 21 years after its unveiling, Corum is launching the new Bubble with the new X Ray watch, inspired by early designs.
Technical Specifications:
The case, in stainless steel black PVD, measures 47mm x 8.5mm. It has a high dome AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 100 mters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Corum caliber CO 082 with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours. Functions are: hours, minutes, and central seconds.
Black dial in brass with sapphire discs. Luminescent skull pattern. Leaf shaped Rhodium-coated skeletonized hands.
It comes on a 24mm black synthetic strap with rubber lining and fluorescent green stitchings. Steel black PVD pin buckle.
