The Tondagraph GT Steel Panda features the rare horological pairing of a chronograph with an annual calendar.

To increase legibility, the orange numerals and details that appeared on its black-dialed predecessor have been replaced with higher-contrast elements in white.

"With this new model we wanted to exalt the contrast between the counters and the silver dial," says Parmigiani Fleurier CEO Guido Terreni. "Taking out the orange indicators of the first edition helped us obtain a pure and long-lasting aesthetic."

Technical Specifications:
The case, in polished and satin-finished stainless steel with knurled bezel, measures 42mm x 13.7mm. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire dislay back, and it is water resistant to 100 meters.

Movement is the Swiss automatic Parmigiani in-house caliber PF043 with 56 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 45 hours. It features Côtes de Genève and Perlage decoration. It has a skeletonized, 22kt rose gold rotor, sand-blasted and satin-finished. Functions are: hours, minutes, small seconds, annual calendar and chronograph.

Silver dial with black ceramic subdials. Hand-applied rhodium-plated appliques with black luminescent coating. Skeletonized delta-shaped hands with black luminescent coating. Finishing: guilloché clou triangulaire. Big date double aperture at 12 o'clock. Subdials at 9 and 6 o'clock for the chronograph readouts and the 3 o'clock subdial serves the dual functions of a running seconds indicator and a display of the month. As in all annual calendars, this indicator requires adjustment only once per year, from February to March.

It comes on a steel bracelet with folding clasp or on a black vulcanized rubber strap with steel deployant.

MSRP is $20,400 to $21,500.

Thanks.
