The Sea Shepherd Challenge is their reinterpretation of Captain Paul Watson's Rolex SubmarinerDate and realized in support of Sea Shepherd. Captain Paul Watson is Sea Shepherd's founder, and he has dedicated his life to protect the oceans and marine wildlife.
For this project, Artisans de Geneve created their very first complication: a moonphase enhanced with an aventurine dial and grand feu disc enamel. This was achieved by adding a new and specific module to the Rolex 3135 movement.
The caliber is beveled, polished and circular-grained enhancing the white gold rotor and its aventurine insert.
