Jack Heuer, great-grandson of the brand's founder, former TAG Heuer CEO, and current Honorary Chairman, turns 88 in 2020. Inspired by Jack's favorite Heuer watch (the iconic vintage Heuer Carrera 1158CHN), the details of this chronograph recall the story of Jack and TAG Heuer.
Technical Specifications:
The case, in 18kt rose gold, measures 42mm. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 100 meters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic TAG Heuer in-house caliber Heuer 02 with 40 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 80 hours. Special black rotor. Functions are: hours, minutes, seconds, and chronograph: 1/4 second, 30 minutes counter, 12 hours counter, and date.
Ivory white dial with grey sub-dials. Gold luminous hands. 88 symbol on the dia.
It comes on a black alligator leather strap with an 18kt rose gold pin buckle.
