De Bethune presents the DB28 Steel Wheels now for the first time equipped with a tourbillon, the lightest ever made. The movement's delta bridge and two barrel covers are made of sapphire crystal.
Technical Specifications:
The case, in titanium, measures 43mm x 9.8m. Polished titanium floating lugs. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back with linear power reserve indicator in blued steel, and it is water resistant to 30 meters.
Movement is the Swiss manual-wind De Bethune in-house caliber DB2019V5 with 39 jewels, 36,000 vph and a power reserve of 5 days. It features a titanium balance wheel with white gold inserts, optimised for temperature differences and air penetration. "De Bethune" balance-spring with flat terminal curve. Silicon escape wheel. Ultra-light tourbillon in titanium.
Motion works bridge and concave cover plate in grade 5 titanium, mirror-polished. Curved, open worked and beveled barrel bridge with glass blued sapphire. Open worked and hand sailed barrels with glass blued sapphire and blued titanium beveled rings. Rhodium power reserve indicator background decorated with "De Bethune" circular graining. Blued and engraved ring. Steel parts beveled and polished by hand
The dial has circular-grained titanium hours ring. Spherical polished titanium hour-markers set and 30" dial on a blued polished titanium circle. Minutes and hours hand in hand-polished sand-blasted blued titanium.
It comes on an an extra-supple alligator leather strap with alligator lining and a titanium pin buckle.
