The newest release in Panerai's partnership with Luna Rossa the team officially registered as the 36th Challenger for the America's Cup in New Zealand 2021.
Technical Specifications:
The case, in sandblasted titanium, measures 42mm x 14.4mm. Carbotech bezel. Sapphire crystal. Caseback with Luna Rossa logo, Luna Rossa AC75 monohull and engraved image of the America's Cup trophy. It is water resistant to 100 meters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Panerai in-house caliber p.9010 with 31 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 3 days. It features two barrels, a Glucydur balance wheel and an Incabloc shockproof device. Functions are: hours, minutes, small seconds, date, and GMT.
The dial is made of Scafotech, an innovative and sustainable composite made from the hull and hydrofoils of the Italian team's AC75 yacht. Sandwich structure with Arabic numerals and indices with SuperLuminova. Personalized with "Luna Rossa Challenger 36th America's Cup". Seconds at 9 o'clock, date at 3 o'clock.
It comes on a black alligator leather strap with tone-on-tone stitching and trapezoidal ardillon buckle in titanium. A second black rubber strap is also included, along with a NATO strap, a tool to change the straps, a screwdriver for removing the buckle, and a box wrapped in personalized Panerai and Luna Rossa sailcloth.
