Breitling introduced Breitlight in 2016. This robust, ultra-light material's characteristics include being 3.3 times lighter than titanium and 5.8 times lighter than stainless steel. It is nonmagnetic, thermally stable, and hypoallergenic. Breitlight is highly resistant to scratches, traction, and corrosion. It also feels warmer to the touch than metal and has a slightly textured effect. Exclusive to Breitling, it is 100% Swiss made.
Technical Specifications:
The case, in Breitlight, measures 44mm x 12.5mm. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal and it is water resistant to 100 meters.
Movement is the Swiss SuperQuartz Breitling in-house caliber 82. Thermo-compensated. 4 year battery. It features 1/10th second and 30-minute counters, pulsometer scale, hour, minute, seconds, and date. It is COSC-certified as a chronometer.
The black dial has a white, blue, yellow, orange, or red inner bezel. SuperLuminova hour and minute hands.
It comes on a hite, blue, yellow, orange, or red Diver Pro rubber strap with a Breitlight double-pin buckle. An Outerknown ECONYL yarn NATO strap can be purchased separately.
