
Celebrating the Chinese New Year - Limited Edition of 100 Pieces

Chinese New Year will be celebrated on January 25, 2020 marking the start of the year of the rat. The Chinese Zodiac, also known as Sheng Xiao, is represented by 12 animals. The first animal in the zodiac is the "Rat", a symbol of wealth and surplus.
As in previous years, Perrelet celebrates the Chinese New Year with a timepiece from its Turbine collection dedicated to the zodiac animal of 2020.

Technical Specifications:
The case, in stainless steel black PVD, measures 44mm x 13mm. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 50 meters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Perrelet in-house caliber P-331 with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours. Turbine Technology rotor. Bridges decorated with Côtes de Genève. Functions are: hours, minutes, and seconds.

It has a Turbine dial with 12 black anodized aluminum blades with the signs of the Zodiac engraved on each blade. 5 tungsten counterpoises positioned under the blades. Figure of the Rat and its Chinese ideogram engraved in red on the 3 o'clock blade. Red sub-dial with the figure of the Rat printed in gold. Black flange with indication of hours and minutes in black Arabic numerals, at intervals of 15, covered with SuperLuminova. Black central hours and minutes hands covered with black SuperLuminova and red central seconds hand.
The five tungsten counterweights applied under the blades of the turbine which have to be perfectly balanced during assembly allow even the slightest movement of the wrist to set the Turbine in motion.
It comes on a black rubber strap with black PVD steel folding clasp.
