Carl F. Bucherer has joined forces with Manta Trust, a UK-based charity with the mission of conserving the oceans and the habitat of the rare manta rays. Manta Trust is active in over 20 countries, leading research projects and awareness campaigns on behalf of this endangered species.
The Patravi ScubaTec Black Manta Special Edition is Carl F. Bucherer's second special-edition timepiece dedicated to this cause.
Technical Specifications:
The case, in DLC-coated titanium, with a titanium/ceramic bezel, measures 44.6mm x 13.4mm. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, an automatic helium-release valve, and it is water resistant to 500 meters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic CFB caliber 1950.1 with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 38 hours. It is COSC-certified as a chronometer.
The black dial has luminous hands and marker. Manta ray silhouettes.
It comes on a black rubber strap with recycled PET textile layer and a DLC-coated titanium folding clasp.
