Commissioned by a client, this bespoke case material, a composite of carbon and titanium, has never been used to create a case before.
Courtesy of its distinctive method of operation, the watch displays a different face whenever the time is reset, thereby enabling each owner of a Vault watch to wear a timepiece which is unique and individual. The watch is set by rotating the complete movement. Utilizing the ground-breaking Hour Gear Transmission (HGT), with its uniquely rotating dial, to indicate the hours. The hours and minutes are set by rotating the movement and the dial at different speeds.
Technical Specifications:
The case, a carbon titanium composite (developed by Fatcarbon), measures 39mmn x 46.7mm x 15mm. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal and a display caseback featuring bespoke red SuperLuminova print.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Vault caliber V01 (made by Uhrteil AG) beating at 21,600 vph and with a power reserve of 50 hours. It features an inertia regulated balance wheel, a rhodium plated skeletonized rotor (developed by Marc Jenni), a pearl blasted rhodium plated baseplate, and black rhodium plated brushed and bevelled bridges.
Pearl blasted, laser engraved and black anodized aluminium rehaut featuring red Lumicast 5-minute markers.
It comes on a black and red ostrich leg leather strap with contrasting red stitching with a titanium buckle.
