The case, in stainless steel, measures 43mm x 13.2mm. It has double sapphire crystals and it is water resistant to 30 meters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Jaquet Droz in-house caliber 2660QL3 with 30 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 68 hours. It features a silicon balance spring and pallet horns, double barrel, flat bridges, and a heavy metal rotor. Functions are: off-centered hours and minutes, large off-centered seconds. Pointer-type date display at 6 o'clock, and astronomical moonphase at 6 o'clock.
It has a Swiss serpentinite dial, with 18kt white gold applied rings. Moon disc in serpentinite with star and moon appliques in 18kt white gold and 22kt white gold respectively. Hours, minutes, seconds and date hands with rhodium treatment. Date with red varnished tip.
This scaly-looking rock has a texture comparable to snake skin and offers a peculiar sensation to the touch. It is taken from the sheer slopes of the Matterhorn, from a spot near the Hörnli Hut, the legendary base camp of the first ascent of the Matterhorn in 1865.
It comes on a black rolled-edge hand-made alligator leather strap with a steel folding clasp.
