
2019 marks the 60th anniversary of the Mido Commander collection, which was first launched in 1959. The Commander has been produced by Mido without interruption since then.

The case, in stainless steel anthracite PVD, measures 42mm. It has an AR-coated domed sapphire crystal, a sapphire dispal yback, and it is water resistant to 50 meters.

Movement is the Swiss automatic Mido caliber 80 Si (base ETA C07.821) with 23 jewels, 21,600 vph and a power reserve of 80 hours. It is COSC-certified as a chronometer. It features an ELINFLEX mainspring, a silicon balance-spring, a decorative disc with transferred Si logo on the balance bridge, blued screws, and a rotor decorated with Geneva stripes and Mido logo. It is adjusted to 5 positions.

It has an anthracite, sunray satin-finished dial with polished applied indeces with SuperLuminova, day and date at 3 o'clock. Flat diamond-cut, hour and minute hands with SuperLuminova. Seconds hand varnished in orange.
It comes on a stainless steel anthracite PVD Milanese mesh bracelet.
