The 15th Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) Awards Ceremony takes place on October 29, 2015 at the Grand Théâtre de Genève. This year's awards ceremony is live streaming on TimeZone at 5:30P CET, 12:30P ET and 9:39A PT.
Created in 2001, the GPHG is the world's most prestigious salute to the excellence, innovation and watchmaking expertise of worldwide watchmaking creations. During the GPHG Awards Ceremony, an international jury hands out 16 prizes, including the evening's highest "Aiguille d'Or" (Golden Hand) distinction.
Also during the ceremony, the best first-year student at the Geneva Watchmaking School is awarded the "Prix du Meilleur Jeune Élève de l'École d'Horlogerie de Genève" (Best Young Student at the Geneva Watchmaking School Prize). The winner receives a study scholarship granted by the Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild, principal sponsor of the GPHG.
