Unique in its movement, materials and machining, Hublot is proud to present the Big Bang MP-11. Inspired by a race engine, 7 series-coupled barrels provide 2 weeks of power reserve. This engine is coupled to the hour and minute display through a rarely used helical "worm gear" which allows power to be transmitted from the horizontally oriented barrels to the vertically oriented drivetrain. The balance is located on the dial side to provide visual symmetry with the helical gearing. The final touch: a machined sapphire crystal with convexity that flows over the barrels.
Winding can be done by hand. Included with the watch, however, is a motor-race inspired electric Torx stylus that will also do the job
It is available in 2 versions: Striking black or absolute clarity
The All Black MP-11 brings 3D Carbon to watchmaking for the first time. A polymer matrix reinforced by a 3D weave combines near weightlessness with strength--The watch and bracelet together weigh only 90 grams. The complex architecture results in a case covered in unique facets and reflections.
The other version is encased in pure sapphire.
