To celebrate 55 years since the Heuer Carrera was created, TAG Heuer has unveiled a new Carrera with its Heuer 02 manufacture movement and a GMT function.
The case, in stainless steel, measures 45mm. It has a black and blue ceramic bezel with 24-hour tachymeter scale. Domed AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 100 meters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic TAG Heuer in-house caliber Heuer 02 with 33 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 75 hours. Visible skeleton date disc with window at 4:30 o'clock. To ensure optimum legibility, the GMT hand has been ingeniously mounted in a secondary position -- between the hour and minute hands -- enabling it to pass over the indeces and skim the GMT scale.
It has a black skeleton dial. Black flange with 60-second scale. Chronograph minute counter at 3 o'clock with rhodium-plated snailed ring. Chronograph hour counter at 9 o'clock with rhodium-plated snailed ring. Small second counter at 6 o'clock with blue snailed ring. Rhodium-plated hour, minute and seconds hands and indeces with white SuperLuminova. Lacquered red GMT hand with white SuperLuminova. Polished rhodium-plated "TAG Heuer" logo at 12 o'clock.
It comes on a steel bracelet or a black rubber strap with steel deployant.
