Portugieser Automatic and Portugieser Chronograph with Steel Case and Blue Dial
IWC produced its first watches with blue dials 50 years ago. Now, it unveiling two versions of the popular Portugieser collection.
Portugieser Automatic Ref. IW500710
The case, in stainless steel, measures 42.3mm x 14.2mm. It has a convex AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 30 meters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic IWC in-house caliber 52010 with 31 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 7 days. Pellaton automatic winding, a Breguet spring and an 18kt gold medallion on the rotor. Functions are: hours, minutes, small seconds, date and power reserve display.
The dial is blue with rhodium-plated hands and appliqués.
It comes on a black alligator leather strap with a steel buckle.

The case, in stainless steel, measures 40.9mm x 12.5mm. It has a convex AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 30 meters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic IWC in-house caliber 79350 with 31 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 44 hours.
The dial is blue with rhodium-plated hands and appliqués.
It comes on a black alligator leather strap with a steel buckle.
These new models will be available at IWC boutiques and from authorised IWC retailers as of September.
