Piece Unique for Only Watch 2017

"The legacy left by Mr Louis Moinet himself helped guide us in the creation of this timepiece. As a watchmaker, he was one of the pioneers of observational astronomy. This piece demonstrates our commitment to Only Watch and also offers a fitting tribute to an outstanding inventor and committed humanist."
The case, in stainless steel, measures 43.2mm x 14.8mm. It has double sapphire crystals and is water resistant to 50 meters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Louis Moinet caliber LM31, developed and manufactured by them and Concepto, with 26 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 48 hours. The black rotor is decorated with a concentric Clou de Paris pattern and a fragment of lunar meteorite.
The dial has the world's first ever hammered gilded watch face adorned with authentic lunar meteorite fragments. The hands are done in blued steel ffeaturing the firm's signature "dewdrop" tips, they trace a circle around a powder-coated black flange.
It comes on a black hand-sewn Louisiana alligator leather strap with a steel folding clasp with Fleur-de-Lys motif.
