The Sea Rescuers Watch
Bell & Ross pays tribute to professionals who rescue at sea and, more specifically, to its helicopter pilots and divers, with two instruments designed to support them in their missions.
The metallic grey of the dial recalls the fuselage of the helicopters used by rescuers at sea, which is also used by the navy in the camouflage on its military ships. The orange on the dial and the second hand reflects the visual codes associated with maritime safety. It guarantees optimal time reading. It is the color of the suits worn by the divers aboard during missions. This color is visible at great distances and essential during sea rescues.
The collection comprises two automatic models: a three hands model with date display and a two counter chronograph, also with date.
BR V2-92 Garde-Cotes
The case, in stainless steel, measures 41mm. It has a curved AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back engraved with the symbol of sea rescuers: the buoy and the anchor, and it is water resistant to 100 meters. Rotating steel bezel with anodised black aluminium ring and 60-minute scale.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Bell & Ross caliber 302 (base Sellita SW300-1) with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 38 hours. Functions are: hours, minutes, seconds and date.
The dial is matte grey. Numerals and indices coated in white Superluminova. Metal skeletonised Superluminova-filled hour and minute hands.
It comes on a steel bracelet or a black rubber strap with a steel buckle.
BR V2-94 Garde-Cotes
The case, in stainless steel, measures 41mm. Movement is the Swiss automatic Bell & Ross (base ETA) caliber 301 with 37 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours. Functions are: hours, minutes, small seconds at 3 o'clock. Date. Short time interval chronograph: 30-min counter at 9 o'clock, central chronograph seconds.
