A new Grand Seiko Spring Drive 8 day power reserve creation, inspired by the sky at night.
The case, in 18kt rose gold, measures 43mm x 13.2mm. It has a box-shaped AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 100 meters.
Movement is the Japanese manual-wind Seiko in-house caliber 9R01 Spring Drive with 56 jewels and a power reserve of 8 days (192 hours). Accuracy: ±0.5 second per day (±10 seconds per month). Power reserve indicator on the caseback. Magnetic resistance: 4,800 A/m.
The one-piece bridge ensures the precise positioning of each wheel in the gear train and maximizes the efficiency of the transmission of power from the barrels.
The dial is inspired by the night sky in the mountains that surround the Micro Artist Studio, Seiko's facility in Shiojiri in central Japan.
It comes on a brown crocodile leather strap with an 18kt rose goldfolding clasp.
