Limited Edition of 90 Pieces
Longines is reissuing the Hour Angle Watch as a limited series of 90 pieces to mark the 90th anniversary of Charles Lindbergh's exploits. Equipped with a rotating bezel for correcting the equation of time, and a mobile central dial to set the exact second, this timepiece also indicates the hour angle in degrees and minutes.
The case, in titanium, measures 47.5mm. Black PVD steel bezel, steel "boule" crown. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal and it is water resistant to 30 meters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Longines caliber L699.2 (base ETA A07.111) with 24 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours. Functions are: hours, minutes, seconds, longitude (in degrees and minutes), seconds synchronised to a radiotransmitted signal (by the mobile central dial) correction of the equation of time (by the rotating bezel).
It has a silver-toned dial with circular-brushed finish, galvanic black central dial. Degrees in painted black Arabic numerals. Rhodium-plated Breguet hands.
It comes on a brown calfskin leather strap with titanium buckle and extension.
