Limited Editions of 1,957 Pieces in Steel and 60 Pieces Each in 18kt Rose and Yellow Gold
Longines celebrates this year the 60th anniversary of its first Flagship collection. For this occasion, they introduce the Flagship Heritage 60th Anniversary 1957-2017. This timepiece was inspired by a Flagship model kept in the Swiss watchmaker's headquarters.
The case, in 18kt rose or yellow gold, or in stainless steel, measures 38.5mm. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal and it is water resistant to 30 meters. A Caravel ship is stamped on the caseback.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Longines caliber L609 (base ETA 2895-25) with 27 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours. Functions are: hours, minutes and sub-seconds.
The dial, brushed silver, with two zones, features four Arabic numerals and eight applied indices in rose or yellow gold. Yellow or rose gold Dauphine hands; hour and minute hands coated with SuperLuminova.
It comes on a brown alligator leather strap with matching metal buckle.
