In 1985, Kurt Klaus translated the Gregorian calendar into his legendary IWC Da Vinci Chronograph Perpetual Calendar. In 2007, IWC reinterpreted the Da Vinci collection with a tonneau case. A decade later in 2017, IWC looks to the original for inspiration and freshes the Da Vinci collection with a round case, stepped bezel and movable lugs for optimal comfort.
IWC also expands its "Engineered for Men" slogan by engineering five new ladies references. The ladies timepieces feature smaller, thinner cases and each is decorated with an elegantly engraved solid caseback in a "Flower of Life" motif.
To highlight the new Da Vinci collection, the IWC Booth is inspired by the elegance and sophistication of the Renaissance, with the interior design and visual references to Leonardo Da Vinci's "Golden Ratio" and "Divine Proportions":
